The Awesome of Skyline Hill in Jayapura,Papua

(1)There are many tourism places in Jayapura, Papua; one of the best places is Skyline hill. (3) It is an area between Abepura and Jayapura city. (4) Three sides beyond skyline hill make the hill awesome: from the left side, from the right side and on the top hill.

(1)Two amazing places on the left side are Yotefa bay and Timbul-tenggelam field. (2) Yotefa bay is one of the two bays that flank Jayapura Island. (3)There are coconut vendors in the entries. (4)The number of mangrove trees around make the bay is quite shady. (5)The wind blew up orderly as if make a pattern. (6)The water is blue and clear; it flows calmly so we can only hear the wind and the bird sound. (7)The bay is clean with white and smooth sand. (8) In the center of the gulf there are several small islands unoccupied. (9) On the other hand, there is also timbul-tenggelam field. (10) Timbul-tenggelam field is a broad land in the water. (11) The unique things of this field are: when there is high water, the land will disappear; when the water is low tide, the land will arise and become a large field. (12) The sand in the field is very small and there are no big rocks or sharp things. (13) The visitor often uses the field to play football, volleyball, and to play kites.

(1)The other great places of Skyline on the top hill are Crocodile farm and Hindu temple. (2) Crocodile farm is very large. (3) It is consist of 40 pools with size 16o m2 for each pool. (4) In every pool, there will be 300 crocodiles from one year up to ten years. (5) The whole amount is 1200 crocodiles with children size 50cm-1m and adult size 1m – 10m. (6) There are two kinds of crocodiles: land crocodile (Novaguinea crocodile) and estuary crocodile (Paracous crocodile). (7) The purpose of developing this farm is to conserve rare crocodiles. (8) The other purpose is commercialized the crocodile. (9) The meat is used to make dendeng and tangkur for men’s vitality. (10) The valuable skins are exported to overseas. (11) Furthermore, there is Hindu temple called Pura near the farm. (12) The ground in this area was filled with fresh and tidy grass. (13) The weather is colder as the place lies on the top hill. (14) The facilities that served are worship place, resting place, benches, and small garden.

(1) The last beautiful place in skyline from the right side is Buddhist temple or Vihara. (2) The building was classic-Dutch designed. (3) The building seems like new because it always takes care by people who lived around the place. (4) There are many Cambodia trees in every corner make the place smell good. (5) Not only for praying, this place also used for watching sunrise and sunset. (6) Moreover, it is used for jogging and relaxing mind.

(1) Skyline is the best place to visit when you want to enjoy your spare time without spending much cost. (2) You will not feel disappointed if you go to this place.
